The recent commercial launch of the new line of food for small pets under the MIGNINI&PETRINI label is registering a considerable success.

With over 40 items, the new Allegrì line stands out for the excellent quality of its products for granivores, parrots, insectivores, frugivores, rodents and dwarf rabbits.

Its strong point is the stay fresh packaging that guarantees an appetising product. The super premium recipes using exclusive raw materials ensure the products are extremely popular with these lovely animals.

The products in the Allegrì line are available in all the sales outlets with the MIGNINI and PETRINI trademarks.

The cultural value of our project "Back to Breeding as it used to be" aims to recuperate the values of biodiversity of some of the best traditions in rural livestock breeding. At the beginning of the year, MIGNIN&PETRINI inaugurated a new chicken run on one of its farms, where the breeder birds were raised, the eggs incubated and slow growing breeds of chicks were carefully selected together with the Experimental Centre for Poultry Breeding in Rovigo, and raised.
Direct production of chicks has enabled us to considerably improve their qualitative standards and satisfy our approved dealers and their increasing number of customers, who are interested in raising pedigree, slow growing chickens.
At present, we are carefully selecting and breeding our hens and cockerels for 2013. We will be adding a new, medium to heavy breed, "Robusta Lionata", with a warm buff plumage, to our other two breeds, "Gigante Nero d'Italia" and "Italiana Barrata".
Another major project is the publishing of our monthly magazine "Il Gazzettino Allevare Come Una Volta" [Back to Breeding as it used to be Magazine], which deals with important topics of rural livestock breeding and is sent by e-mail, free of charge, to Mignini&Petrini dealers, to any Customers who request it and to all dedicated enthusiasts.
